Mrs. Prapassorn Phongphanpisan, the Spokesman of Thailand Tobacco Monopoly (TTM), confirmed that there will be no increase in cigarette tax at the moment and warned the cigarette shop not to hoard or raise the price of cigarettes because it is against the Tobacco Act and causes problems to the consumer, at Press Release Room, Ministry of Finance, July 4 2007. |
