Excise Announced the Campaign on the Prevention and Suppression of Illegal Liquor Production and Sale Project
Mr. Somchai Pulsawas, the director general of the Excise Department, together with Mr. Thammasak Laoraium, Adviser on Excise Control Development, jointly announced the Campaign on the Prevention and Suppression of Illegal Liquor Production and Sale Project for the fiscal year of 2014-2015 (October 2014 to June 2015), in which had the offenders in total of 38,046 cases, worth of the damage is 300 million baht, the suppression of liquor is 9,397 cases, with the 1,073,877 litres of confiscated liquor, worth 37 million baht, and the suppression of tobacco (Baraku) is 933 cases, with the 1,117,488 grams of tobacco (Baraku), worth 23 million baht, at the Excise Department, June 26 2015.
