MOF Announced the Seize of Elephant Tusk Smuggled into Thailand
Mr. Wisudhi Srisuphan, Deputy Finance Minister, Gen. Daopong Ratanasuwan, National Resources and Environment Minister, and Mr. Somchai Sujjapongse, the director general of the Customs Department, jointly announced the seize of 511 elephant tusks, weight 3,127 kilograms, worth more than 200 million baht (6 Million US), that contained in containers from RHL FELICITAS ship pass through Lao PDR to Kenya, Africa, at the Customs Department, April 27 2015.
