EXIM Thailand Extended 110 Million USD Loan to Support Mermaid Maritime???s Subsea Engineering Business
Mr. Kanit Sukonthaman, President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), and M.L. Chandchutha Chandratat, President and CEO of Thoresen Thai Agencies Public Company Limited (TTA), jointly signed a 10-year loan agreement worth 110 million USD or 3.3 billion baht between EXIM Thailand and Mermaid Maritimes Public Company Limited (Mermaid), one of TTA???s key subsidiaries, that the loan facility is earmarked for refinancing the loan extended to two vessels, namely, M.V. Mermaid Endurer and M.V. Mermaid Asiana, in line with TTA???s strategy to promote the growth of its subsea engineering business, at Intercontinental Bangkok Hotel, July 4 2011.
