The 2nd World Congress on Agricultural and Rural Finance in Bangkok
Mr. Thiraphong Tangthirasunan, the President of Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), announced that BAAC will host the 2nd World Congress on Agricultural and Rural Finance from October 31 - November 3, 2007 at Royal Thai Navy Convention Hall with aims to honor His Majesty the King in an occasion of His 80th Birthday Anniversary on December 5 2007, promote the philosophy of the Sufficiency Economy internationally, exchange views and share experience among organizations related to the agricultural and rural finance from different regions around the world, discuss trends and advances in agricultural and rural financing, and encourage the sustainable development in rural areas, at Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (Head Office), September 5 2007.
