4 Partnerships Joined to Drive Philosophy of the Sufficiency Economy into Concrete Action
Mr. Thiraphong Tangthirasunun, the President of Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), Mr. Songsak Wongpoomwat, the director general of Department of Agricultural Extension, Mr. Umnat Yensabai, the secretary of Institute of Sufficiency Economy (ISE), and Mr. Thira Wongcharoen, the secretary of Agri-Nature Foundation, jointly signed the memorandum of cooperation on turning the Philosophy of the Sufficiency Economy into concrete action as a way to build a sustainable rural society as well as developing database system of local community knowledge as a prototype for a systematic knowledge transfer and exchange system with an aim to have approximately 100,000 farmers to join the project within 2008, at Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives, September 19 2007.
