Second Day Result the 2nd World Congress on Agricultural and Rural Finance
Mr. Thiraphong Tangthirasunan, the President of Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), announced the second day result of the 2nd World Congress on Agricultural and Rural Finance on the topic of ???Food Sufficiency?? that members of the meeting agreed that, at present, the world has produced enough food for the need of the world???s population, which is better than expectation and eases the concern over the lack of food during the past 10 years and stressed the importance of providing financial support to the women at the grassroots level in which the BAAC will offer loans to women more through Small and Micro Community Enterprise Loans, Housewife Group Loans as well as provide education program to develop their competency, in front of Chao Praya Room, Auditorium of Royal Thai Navy, November 1 2007.
