Asian EXIM Banks Join Forces to Help Business Sector Survive Economic Crisis


Mr. Narongchai Akrasanee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Bank), Mr. Apichai Boontherawara, the President of EXIM Bank and Heads of Delegation of state-owned export credit agencies in Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines and a representative from the Asian Development Bank, jointly posed for a group photo after the 15th Annual Meeting of Asian EXIM Banks Forum hosted by EXIM Thailand at Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket Hotel. The meeting objective is to exchange the participants??? knowledge and experience gained from the economic downturn and find area of international and inter-organizational collaboration. The participants also signed a memorandum of understanding to develop a master agreement on financing and export credit insurance by the year 2010.
