GHB Announced the Operating Result for the First Half Year of 2008
Mr. Khan Prachuabmoh, the President of Government Housing Bank (GHB), announced the operating result for the first half year of 2008 (before approved by the Office of the Auditor General of Thailand) as of June 30 2008 that the bank had a net profit of 727 million baht, 4.47% decrease from the last year of 761 million baht, total outstanding loans of 582,744 million baht, 4.74% increase, new loans of 34,523 million baht for 49,002 cases, total deposit of 494,909 million baht, 3.88% increase, total asset of 637,394 million baht, 2.67% increase, non-performing loans of 68,991 million baht or 11.84% of total loans and non-performing assets of 7,425 million baht, at Government Housing Bank (Head Office), August 14 2008.
