EXIM Thailand, Bangkok Bank and SCB Jointly Finance Sugar Mill Projects in Lao PDR
Dr. Apichai Boontherawara, President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), Mr. Thewakun Chanakun, Vice President and Vientiane Branch Manager, Bangkok Bank Public Co., Ltd., and Mr. Grish Attagrish, Division Head of Corporate Division 2, Siam Commercial Bank Public Co., Ltd., signed 104.8 million USD syndicated loan contracts with Mr. Isara Vongkusolkit, Managing Director, Mitr Lao Sugar Co., Ltd. at JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok, on May 13, 2008. The loan will be used to finance the company???s sugarcane plantation and sugar mill construction project in Lao PDR, May 13 2008.
