Picture News The Seize of Elephant Tusk Smuggled into Thailand Mr. Paisan Chuenjitr, the deputy director general of the Customs Department, and Mr. Thanya Netithamkul, the deputy director general of the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, jointly announced the arrest of Vietnamese man and Chinese woman, who carried 18 elephant tusks, weight 15 kilograms and products from elephant tusk in total of 587 pieces, weight 45 kilograms smuggled into Thailand, worth approximately of 9 million baht, at the Customs Department, Klong Toey, July 28 2014.
